REMINDER! Special Meeting for Cachuma Lake and the Live Oak Trail

Tomorrow afternoon – Thursday, June 30th, 4:00 PM, you and your family, friends, neighbors, and acquaintances are invited to a special meeting to provide input on the upcoming Santa Barbara Countywide Recreation Master Plan.

Come let the County know the Live Oak Trail needs to remain a safe equestrian trail - no mountain bikes and/or E-bikes! Also, restoring the historic horse camp at the Live Oak camp would increase revenue and be an appropriate use to promote the historic significance of the Live Oak Camp.

Come and discuss what existing and potential facilities and outlets are needed for you and your family to get out and enjoy our open spaces. Dream BIG - remember there are no County-owned horse facilities in Santa Barbara County yet, every coastal County has at least some type of facility (riding ring, campground and/or trails) for equestrian riders. We need the same in Santa Barbara County

A good turn out of concerned equestrians shows our numbers and our strong support for safe horse facilities and also makes a significant impact on County decisions.

Hope to see you there!!!

When: Thursday, June 30th, 4:00 p.m.

Where: Hook’d Bar and Grill

Cachuma Lake Recreation Area, off Hwy 154
